AQUALAND WATERPARK & RESORT is situated in the idyllic location, of Agios Ionassis Village, Pareleion, Corfu, GREECE.
THE WATERPARK
Designed in typical Corfiot style, with well established garden areas. It covers an area of 75,000 sq mtrs of private land, and is close to the main national road giving easy access to and from all holiday resorts.
The Complex is located in the central/west of the island, just 7 km from Corfu town and 6 km from the airport, with the well-known sandy beaches of Glyfada & Myrtiotissa (nudist beach) approximately 5 km away.
Originally constructed by a specialist Canadian company who has also built more than 200 theme parks similar to Walt Disney in various parts of the world, including the United Arab Emirates. In accordance with the principal plan submitted by the contractors, the Aqualand Waterpark was to be enhanced with more additional services.
The Waterpark first opened in 1997, and is currently the biggest Waterpark in the Balkans region.
Each year there have been additional interactive water games, which include 30 water slides offering different themes.
The Aqualand Waterpark proudly features one of the worlds largest swimming waves pool, and is 3,700 sq mtrs in size, it is capable of creating 8 various forms of waves and includes 37 games for adults and 17 for children, including kayak, rafting and crazy river to name but a few.
A wealth of facilities include: Café Gelateries, Restaurant, Fast Food, Supermarket, Photoshop, Boutique, Changing Rooms, Showers, Toilets, Children’s Toilets, Picnic Areas, Children’s Playground, Tennis Courts, and First Aid.
THE RESORT COMPLEX
The Aqualand Resort is a spacious comfortable family hotel complex, adjacent to the Waterpark, one of the largest and most attractive Water Parks in Europe. A picturesque designed in typical Corfiot style, which includes accommodation and consists of studios, apartments, double rooms and family rooms in a picturesque garden setting.
Note: the rooms only are without kitchens.
Studios and apartments are well-equipped with fitted kitchen and telephone, satellite TV, safety deposit box, air conditioning and shower.
In total there are 158 units comprising of studios and apartments, with approximately 600 beds.
Excellent facilities are available at the resort complex, including, Restaurants, Bars, Swimming Pools, Tennis Courts, Volleyball, Basketball, Sauna, Gym Room, Children’s Play Area with Bouncy Castle, Train, Carousel, Adventure Playhouse, Mini Market, Souvenir Shop Internet Corner, plus a 4,500sq metre Wave Pool.
