This newly restored traditional stone-built house is on the fringes of the village of Agrafi. The ground floor used to house the local wine press where they trod the grapes and stored the wine in wooden barrels. This is now a spacious lounge/diner with generous kitchen and utility areas featuring exposed stonework and ceiling beams (50 sq metres in total). On the first floor, accessed by both interior and exterior staircases, are a large sunny entrance hall and two double bedrooms. In addition there is a family bathroom and walk-in dressing room/storeroom. Floors and ceilings are all original hand-cut cypress wood. Balconies facing north and south give panoramic views of the mountains and the sea including Erikousa Island and Albania. The original panelled stairway leads up to the second floor, which has its own low-beamed living area with velux window and a third double bedroom with en suite cloakroom.

French doors in the bedroom lead onto the roof terrace, which has the best views of all. Separate from the main house is the studio apartment, which has its own wet room/wc en suite. The studio leads onto a south-facing terrace and a small garden of about 50 square metres with mountain view. Since Sunnyside is situated within the village, the studio can be extended without a planning licence. There is street parking at the front of the house.

The hilltop village of Agrafi is 40 minutes from Corfu airport, 5 minutes from palm-fringed Roda beach and 15 minutes from ten other beaches from Sidari to St Spiridion. Agrafi boasts a mini-market and a corner shop as well as a kafeneion and in August it hosts one of the best Paneyeris on the island.
