Things to do in Magoulades
Canal d’Amour Beach is only 6.6km roughly northeast of Magoulades and you can be there in under 15 minutes. Time and tide have carved the coastline into a curvaceous lunar landscape here, creating hidden coves, dramatic cliffsides and secluded strips of soft, welcoming sand ̶ it really has to be seen to be believed. Furthermore, if you’re holidaying here with someone special, the name stems from an ancient legend that proposes any two people who swim together will be struck by Cupid’s arrows and fall in love instantly, so getting your swimming costume wet could change your life forever!
If you’re interested in Eastern meditation and mindfulness, Magoulades also hosts Corfu Buddha Hall, a stunning retreat dedicated to meditative arts which is a soporific sanctuary from the travails of busy modern life.
