We have been visiting Corfu for 31 years and we fell in love with the Island straight away.

During the lock down of the pandemic in 2020 from the Corona Virus we decided that life is to short and we wanted to follow a dream of ours. We wanted a house in a village where we can go on holiday as a family, until we are retired and then we can move there eventually.

We first saw our Corfu house online, we had a budget in my mind and quickly spotted our dream home which was for sale with Roula Rouva.

The agent attached to the property was Lia Barba.

From start to finish Lia was so efficient, helpful and kind.

When we requested more photos, she sent them the same day. When we asked for videos of the property she sent them within 3 days.

At the time it was in the middle of the pandemic, we couldn’t get out to Corfu and see the property, so Lia went to visit the property and took several videos showing everything we needed to see. She showed us the walk way up to the house, around the garden, upstairs and downstairs of the property. She showed us everything we would of seen if we had viewed it in person.

We put an offer in which was answered straight away, they came back with a counter offer which we accepted.

We used the Lawyer that was attached to the Estate Agent, she was AMAZING too, she spoke English and was on the ball! She answered every email and answered all phone calls, she answered all our questions precisely, efficiently and quickly. Roula Rouva also had a builder that had a look around the house to check it over and give us a rough guide about prices for the renovation.

The Lawyer knew a surveyor too. We were advised about opening a bank account , paying tax and also house insurance.

Roula Rouva and everyone involved made our experience easy, exciting and stress free- PERFECTION.
