At short notice we were met at the property by Andrew (Andy) after seeing internet particulars and driving past. We were particularly pleased at his rapid response as it was our last day in Corfu. He gave us an honest view of the property market history and the state of the property enabling us to return to England with a good understanding of what the property would be worth and work needed.

On our next visit we met Andy and he gave us a good run through of the challenges and steps in order to buy a property in the current market identifying which professionals would be needed and he gave us a number of different names of Lawyers and Accountants, surveyors that we would need in order to purchase. Staff at Roula Rouva provided further advice and Andy always was able to rapidly get answers to enable due diligence to be undertaken, which was particularly appreciated as we were in England.

The legal complications of buying the property were many and throughout the period in which negotiations were taking place, Andy kept us up to speed with the Vendors issues and gave his wholehearted attention to getting an equitable agreement to proceed. There were many hurdles to get though and at all times Andy gave consideration to our frustrations and issues arising by interfacing with the Vendors legal team to get to contractual completion.

Andy has a wide network of contacts which proved extremely useful in allowing us to compare professional building suppliers and also enable us to rapidly find the right person for the job.

In summary we feel Andy Marshall is a tremendous asset to Roula Rouva and any potential buyer will be well served by his friendly professional approach and we have no hesitation in recommending his services and hard work in helping buyers get through the challenging issues that arise in purchasing property in Corfu.
