Property for sale in Kassiopi
Corfu is so stunning that it’s like a gorgeous Garden of Eden in miniature – which makes it terribly tricky to choose a single spot to purchase property here.
But unless you’re in the enviable position to be able to expand your portfolio with investments peppered across the island, you might need a little help narrowing down your choices.
North east Corfu property is worth your serious consideration and while there are plenty of locations to choose from, Kassiopi might just be the pick of a brilliant bunch.
It’s the largest village in the north east and conveniently located just 35 km from Corfu Town and the airport – ideal for jetting in from abroad to take up residence in your second home of for tourists headed to the hotel or restaurant you might choose to invest in.
With buildings beautifully clustered around the harbour and stunning sunset views of Mount Pantokrator, Kassiopi’s laid-back nightlife and seaside setting might suit you down to the ground.
Things to do in Kassiopi
Kassiopi doesn’t have its own dedicated beach bang in the middle of the village. But the lack of sand on demand doesn’t pose a problem because the amazing Avlakia and Kerasia beaches are a stone’s throw away – plus, nautical adventures are still available thanks to the boat trips that leave on a daily basis and take you around the island, stopping at secret beaches where you can sip champagne and frolic in the sand in perfect privacy.
Don’t expect a Kavos-style wild night out here, but you’ll enjoy excellent meals in a selection of restaurants, late night bars offering traditional Greek entertainment with music and dancing and a club at the harbour where you can sample exotic cocktails and dance the night away with someone special. And if you’re a pleasure seeker who occasionally pines for distractions that are more adrenalin-fuelled, Corfu Town is a short taxi ride away, so you won’t struggle to organise a livelier evening.
All things considered Kassiopi is a classy location that offers the best of both worlds – peace and quiet when these qualities are preferred and socialising when you’re yearning for that human touch.
