Things to do in Peroulades

If you’re one of life’s romantics, you can’t miss a visit to Canal d’Amour, a curvaceous cove with rugged cliffs and sublime strips of sand  ̶  legend has it that any two people who swim in the sea together at this spot will be romantically intertwined for life, so be very careful who you take a dip with!

Just past Canal d’Amour you’ll find the golden sands of Apotripti Beach, which is sheltered from the elements by clay cliffsides topped by lush vegetation  ̶  locals use the sand as a natural exfoliant and the cliffside clay as a facemask which is said to leave your features feeling silky smooth.

Peroulades is also the perfect starting point for a boat trip to Cape Drastis, the northernmost point of the entire island of Corfu, where the otherworldly cliff formations are permeated by stunning sea caves. Looking back at the island from this perspective, it’s easy to imagine yourself as an approaching ancient mariner, staring awe-struck at the stunning shoreline.
